This Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work course gives learners the practical skills, knowledge and confidence to respond when someone becomes ill or injured in the workplace.
The course is hands-on and focused on realistic situations, helping you understand not just what to do, but giving you the confidence to act when it matters.
What you'll learn
Gain the confidence to respond when it matters.
Responsibilities and reporting
Understand your role as a first aider and what to do in an emergency.
Dealing with an unresponsive casualty
Assess the situation and provide appropriate first aid.
CPR and safe use of an AED
Practical CPR skills and safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator.
Life-threatening bleeding
Learn how to identify and control severe bleeding effectively.
Minor injuries
Respond to cuts, grazes and other common workplace injuries.
Burns and choking
Know what to do and how to respond quickly and appropriately.
Epilepsy
Recognise the signs and understand how to provide appropriate support.
Shock
Recognise the symptoms of shock and know how to respond.
